Happy Halloween!!!

Happy Halloween!!

Goblins and ghouls, ghosts and… flowers!! Halloween is such a fun time of the year! From dressing in disguise, all those fun sized candy bars, to pretty shades of orange everywhere.

We have recently designed some really gorgeous weddings using mostly shades of orange. The warm hue is so inviting and helps set the stage for a truly romantic occasion. Take a look at some stunning images by Snap! Photography highlighting the fun ways in which we have used this gorgeous color.

Flowers for you Groom

There are so many different ways to style your groom for your wedding day. Some opt for the traditional tuxedo and others like to think a bit more out of the box. Whatever you decide, a boutonniere is the perfect little detail to jazz up his lapel.

There are so many different ways to design a boutonniere. Take a look at some of my personal favorites.

Love Birds

I just adore birds, especially at a wedding. A charming way for a couple to express their affection is creating a love bird theme when they exchange their vows.

There are so many fun ways to use these little birds. The adorable figurines can adorn the top tier of a cake as a topper. A ring bearer could carry a small nest fastened with your rings. A sweet bird can be placed on each guest’s napkin as a little detail that’s sure to leave them chirping about how delightful they are.

There are so many great ways to incorporate these birds into a wedding. What’s your favorite way?

Hot Off the Press

While recently standing in line at the store, I perused the pages of the Fall 2010 issue of  Inside Weddings, and it was quite a thrill to find a 10-page spread of a gorgeous wedding that we designed for one of our favorite couples, Jill and Jeff Wilhelm.           Jill and Jeff exchanged their vows in October of 2009 during an elegant outdoor ceremony at the Glen Manor House in Portsmouth, RI. The creamy white blossoms of the ceremony contrasted perfectly against rich deep fall palette of green, chocolate, cranberry, and antique peach for their indoor reception. It truly created an ideal setting for the happy couple.

Not a single detail was overlooked by Jill and Jeff on their wedding day. The creamy white bed of rose petals running down the aisle, the eye-catching kiwi branch place card arrangement, stunning tablescapes, and so many other details created the most magical day. Take a look for yourself!
